I bought the car from an Acura dealership in Florida in 1995. The decisive factor was the reputation of Honda as being a very reliable brand.
These photos are of my Integra being shipped from the U.S. to Yokohama. The first photo is at the International Logistics Center in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. The second photo is from the port in Yokohama. The third photo is getting her registered at the Tama Land Office. I've been driving this car for 28 years. Currently, she is being restored in her home city of Suzuka, Mie.
