“ワイルドカード参戦枠”の決定方法
ワイルドカード参戦に関する規約は、ルールブックのスポーティングレギュレーション[1.11エントリー]の項で詳述されている。その内容は、すでに上記でも説明したとおり、MotoGPクラスとMoto2/Moto3クラスでは若干異なっている。
Moto2/Moto3クラスでは、[1.11.5]と[1.11.7]の条文でワイルドカード資格に関する規約が細かに定められており、FMNR(主催国団体)推薦枠で各1名、FIM推薦で各1名とされている。つまり、各クラスともそれぞれの大会につき各2名のワイルドカード枠が存在する、というわけだ。昨年までの最小排気量クラス(125cc)は開催主催国団体推薦として3名、FIM推薦として2名の枠が設定されていたが、今年(Moto3)からは各1名へ縮小された。ワイルドカード参戦を狙う選手にとっては昨年よりも競争率が高い狭き門になった、と言えるだろう。
一方、MotoGPクラスについては、[1.11.6]でMSMA推薦枠が、[1.11.7]でFIM/DORNAによる推薦枠が説明されている。具体的には、MSMA推薦で1名、FIM/DORNA推薦で1名、という計2名分のワイルドカード参戦枠が、各大会で用意されていることになる。
ルールブック[スポーティングレギュレーション]の各項目で詳述されている内容は、それぞれ以下のとおりだ(注：太字は昨年からの変更部分)。
[1.11.5]
各大会では、主催国団体(FMNR)はMoto3クラスに1名の、Moto2クラスに1名の、当該大会のみのワイルドカードエントリーを推薦できる。
同一クラスで以前に3度ワイルドカードとして当該大会に参戦した選手は、ワイルドカードエントリーが許可されない(この規定に関して、Moto3クラスは125ccクラスと同一、Moto2クラスは250ccクラスと同一とみなす)。
ワイルドカード選手はFMNの発給するFIM「ワンイベント・ロードレーシング・グランプリ」ライセンスの所有者でなければならない。また、エントリーは、大会45日前までにFIMの定める公式な参戦書式に則りFMNRからFIMに提出されなければならない。
これらのエントリーはグランプリコミッションの承認を得るものとする。
ワイルドカード選手の補償や報酬などの会計的調整はすべて、FMNR(主催国団体)の責任とする。
ワイルドカードエントリーは、1.11.2の保険要件義務(注：フル参戦選手に対して一定保障の保険加入を定めた項)を有しない。ワイルドカード選手の保険はFMNR(主催国団体)の責任とする。
Each Grand Prix host Federation (FMNR) may nominate one wild card entry for the Moto3 class and one wild card entry for the Moto2 class in their own Grand Prix only.
No wild card entry will be granted to a rider who has ridden in the event as a wild card on 3 previous occasions in the same class. (For the purpose of this regulation the Moto3 class is considered as being the same as the 125cc class and the Moto2 class is considered as being the same as the 250cc class).
Wild card riders must be holders of an FIM “one event Road Racing Grand Prix” licence issued by any FMN and entries must be submitted by the FMNR to the FIM, on the official entry form issued by the FIM, at least 45 days before the event.
These entries will be submitted to the approval of the Grand Prix Commission.
All financial arrangements for compensation or reward of wild card riders are the responsibility of the FMNR (Federation organising the event).
Wild card entries are not subject to the insurance requirements under 1.11.2. Insurance of the wild card riders is the responsibility of the FMNR (Federation organising the event).
[1.11.6]
MSMAは、各大会毎にMotoGPクラスで1名のワイルドカードエントリーを推薦できる。
ワイルドカード選手はFMNの発給するFIM「ワンイベント・ロードレーシング・グランプリ」ライセンスの所有者でなければならない。また、エントリーはFIMの定める公式な参戦書式にのっとりMSMAからFIMに提出されなければならない。これらのエントリーはグランプリコミッションの承認を得るものとする。
MSMAによって指名されたワイルドカード選手の補償や報酬などの会計的調整はすべて、MSMAの責任とする。
MSMAによって指名されたワイルドカード選手は、条文1.11.2で規定する保険要件に従うものとする。
The MSMA (Motorcycle Sport Manufacturers’ Association) may, at each event, nominate 1 wild card entry for the MotoGP class.
Wild card riders must be holders of an FIM “one event Road Racing Grand Prix” licence issued by any FMN and entries must be submitted by the MSMA to the FIM, on the official entry form issued by the FIM. The entries will be submitted to the approval of the Grand Prix Commission.
All financial arrangements for compensation or reward of wild card riders designated by the MSMA are the responsibility of MSMA.
Wild card riders designated by the MSMA are subject to the insurance requirements stipulated under 1.11.2.
[1.11.7]
FIMは、各大会につきMoto3クラスに1名の、Moto2クラスに1名のワイルドカードエントリーを推薦できる。また、FIM/DORNAは、各大会につき、MotoGPクラスに1名のワイルドカードエントリーを推薦できる。
Moto3とMoto2クラスでは、同一クラスで以前に3度ワイルドカードとして当該大会に参戦した選手は、ワイルドカードエントリーが許可されない(この規定に関して、Moto3クラスは125ccクラスと同一、Moto2クラスは250ccクラスと同一とみなす)。
